Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate user needs into compelling design solutions
  • Design and prototype intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools and methodologies
  • Develop high-quality wireframes, visual designs, user flows, storyboards, information architecture, and interactive prototypes
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design concepts
  • Build and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products
  • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently while maintaining design integrity
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design to continuously improve design quality
  • Participate in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle from ideation through analytics and optimization
  • Work directly with clients to define detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet their specific needs
  • Apply user-centered design principles and methodologies with deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • Contribute to the establishment and growth of design team practices, processes, and standards
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into design iterations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma or Penpot (required) for design and prototyping
  • Proficiency in Storybook.JS for building, testing, and documenting UI components and pages in isolation
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design competencies with public samples (include links to Figma/Penpot projects)
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively collaborate with front-end engineers
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and responsive design practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for SaaS/ERP applications or enterprise software platforms
  • Proficiency in additional design software and prototyping tools beyond Figma
  • Previous experience establishing or contributing to design systems in growing technology companies
  • Strong research and analytical skills with experience in user testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while building new team processes and standards
